Vivaldi's Concerto in D minor for viola d'amore, lute and strings is the third in a set of concertos played by girls of the Ospedale della Pieta in Venice before the Crown Prince of Poland in 1740.

An arrangement by Daniel Burton of the "Ode to the Evening Star" from Richard Wagner's 1845 opera Tannhauser. This lovely song consists of arpeggios of chords in the left hand while the right hand plays the melody in single notes and octaves.
