Traditional American tunes arranged for pedal or lever harp duo |
1 Available |
Three classic American tunes in creative arrangements from Darhon Rees-Rohrbacher. For two intermediate level pedal or lever harpists. Some lever and pedal changes in all the pieces, but these are not difficult. Laid out for a harp with 34 strings, but could be played on smaller harps with some octave transpositions. Note: There is not a separate second harp part included, however the publisher's copyright notice in the book allows for a single photocopy to be made. This is, however, not allowed for paid performances, so if you know you are going to use this duo at gigs, you will need to purchase two books or you will be breaking the copyright law. Includes very interesting histories of the tunes. 15 pages |

30 transcriptions by Kondonassis for solo pedal harp |
3 Available |
A stellar collection of beautifully printed solos transcribed by Kondonassis plus an original piece by the artist. Many of the pieces are those heard on this harpist's seven CDs. Some of the selections would be appropriate for an intermediate level pedal harpist, the others are for the advanced pedal harpist. Although some of the titles have been transcribed for harp before, there are differences, such as some of the variations in the Handel Passacaglia. Kondonassis retains many of the original keyboard markings purposely to aid in interpretation. All of her fingerings and pedaling are clearly indicated, and this is largely where the value of this collection lies. Many of the solos would be useful for background music gigs. This volume represents a significant contribution to printed harp literature. |
