Rohozinski (1886 - 1938) was born in Russia and raised in Paris, France during the height of the impressionist era in music. He studied with Vincint d'Indy. His set of pieces for flute and harp date from 1926 and display a refined language of subtle emotion that is very personal and distinctive. The music is well and effectively written for harp.
