An arrangement for intermediate solo pedal harp of this traditional English folk song (or holiday carol known as "What Child is This?") by Susann McDonald. This elegant arrangement opens with a series of rolled four-finger chords in both hands, into which the melody is woven and proceeds through a short interlude of arpeggios and bass octaves to close with the melody played in haunting left-hand harmonics while the right hand plays an ornamental figure in the higher register on the harp. |
