Richard Strauss piano work transcribed for solo pedal harp |
1 Available |
Traumerei is representative of the mature output Richard Strauss' youth. A reverie suspended in time, it woos our attention with its alternating lush harmonies and bursts of wide-ranging arpeggiated chords, so harp-like in character. It had to be transposed from B to C Major and a few notes of the chromatic inner voices were trimmed. |

Music inspired by the moods of three islands for advanced pedal harp |
3 Available |
Three pieces whose inspiration was drawn from the islands of Orthuz, Ireland and Lesbos. Each piece presents itself with a decidedly different feel. Orthuz, subtitled "Dance of the Fisherman," sounds like a modern, rustic dance. Aran is an Irish lullaby. Lesbos is swift and playful. The pieces are written at the advanced level, and the pedal changes are not marked. 8 pages. |
