Divertissement, Op. 29 |
1 Available |
An enchanting work for intermediate-advanced pedal harp by harpist, composer and teacher Marcel Grandjany. This work opens with an energetic canon and then transitions into a fugue written around a theme whose notes spell the name "Anna Clark" (this work is dedicated to Madame W.A. Clark). The final movement of this work is quite energetic and provides plenty of opportunity for developing and practicing good technique. |

Concert showpiece based on the American folktune for pedal harp |
Available |
A Concert Fantasy for advanced pedal harpists. Lighthearted arrangement by Carlos Salzedo of the American folk song "Dixie" for pedal harp. Requires many fast hand jumps from one octave to another, and many chords stretch well over an octave, so this piece will not be comfortable for small hands. Although the piece changes keys four times, the pedals are not difficult and there are no enormous technical challenges other than those sited above plus the lively tempo. 8 pages. |
