Pachelbel's Canon in D arranged for 22-string lap harp with a range from G to G! Several accommodations have been made for the lap harp range, including some octave transpositions changing the key to C major. Just a few lever changes requiring a Bb. Rehearsal markings have been placed every eight bars to assist the harpist in adapting the length of the piece for playing in wedding ceremonies or at bedside. The piece is 53 bars long, not including repeats, and takes about 5 - 6 minutes at a moderate tempo. 3 pages. For advanced beginner level. |
