Rohozinski (1886 - 1938) was born in Russia and raised in Paris, France during the height of the impressionist era in music. He studied with Vincint d'Indy. His set of pieces for flute and harp date from 1926 and display a refined language of subtle emotion that is very personal and distinctive. The music is well and effectively written for harp. Early advanced level.

Eight quiet, beginner pieces composed for small harps of 23 or more strings, ranging from F below middle C up to G. Levers are needed on F, C, and B. Nice clean notation, with some fingerings included. Lloyd has a flair for composing music so that both hands work together to produce a cohesive tune, giving the left hand almost as much activity as the right. May be appropriate for use in therapeutic settings. The pieces are 2 - 3 pages long each.
