Hasselmans, Alphonse, Petite Berceuse, Op. 11
French harpist, composer and teacher Alphonse Hasselmans was professor of harp at the Paris Conservatory. Hasselmans trained a generation of the most important French harpists of the 20th century, including Henriette Renie, Marcel Tournier, Carlos Salzedo, Marcel Grandjany, Lily Laskine, and Pierre Jamet. This lovely little solo for the beginner lever or pedal harpist gives beginning harp students the opportunity to play some of Hasselmans' beautiful music at a very early stage in their harp studies. This solo is in the key of C and has no lever or pedal changes. 2 pages
