Romatic style music for solo pedal harp played by Yolanda Kondonassis

Yolanda Kondonassis is one of today's foremost harp soloists. This American harpist has performed solo recitals and has been a concerto soloist with many of the major orchestras of the United States and Europe. Her albums usually have a specific theme, and this one is the Romantic era. Some of the pieces were written in modern times but they have the colorful and evocative feel of Romantic music. Susan Miron presents her second album of brilliant transcriptions of Scarlatti sonatas. Susan is the harpist with The Melisande Trio, an ensemble with Boston Symphony members Burton Fine and Fewick Smith.
