Recording of traditional Celtic music for wire strung harp and clarsach

Two leading exponents of traditional harping styles, wire strung and the Scottish clarsach team up in this highly enjoyable album of Celtic music. Ann Heymann plays wire strung harp, which is played with the fingernails, and in Ann's case, on the left shoulder. She has developed a specialized style of playing that involves intricate damping of the strings for a very clean sound.
