Arranging and lead sheet reading for lever harp

Following the idea for his "Blazing Pedals" books, Ray Pool explores the ripe possibilities in arranging modern harmonies for the fully levered lever harp. By first studying triads and then seventh chords in their various inversions, the harmonic richness available to the lever harp using ninths, elevenths and thirteenths is explored in six keys. Additionally, levers are moved to make a useful chain of seventh chords, the whole tone scale and also a harmonized chromatic scale.
With simple practice of the fully notated examples which comprise the second half of this book, arranging for lever harp becomes more fun, satisfying and interesting. Lead sheet reading is a goal for performance. All elements are completely notated in six different keys. Approachable for intermediate lever harpists. 61 pages.
